Renewable Project / Option, Lease Checks

The goal of the Option, Lease Checks is to identify any renewable documents within the time frame specified by the client, typically 5 – 10 years, for tracts that meet the minimum specified acreage. This title product is often used to determine current or recent activity in the areas of interest and identify land that is available for lease or current leaseholders in the region.

The Option, Lease Checks deliverable will include the following:

• County
• Tax Parcel Number
• Landowner Name(s)
• Acreage
• Brief Legal Description
• Searched Y/N (if an acreage cutoff is provided, not all tracts may be searched)
• Wind / Solar Document Book / Page
• Current Leaseholder(s) Name
• Instrument Date
• Term(s) Comments
• List of additional related documents (assignments, amendments, modifications)
• Wind / Solar documents found of record – one document per leaseholder to show the language, restrictive clauses, terms, etc.
