Limited Vesting

Limited Vesting is a product that aims to locate the Vesting Deed(s), Property Card, and GIS Map for the subject property. An abstractor will locate the deed(s) where the current landowner acquired their interest in the subject property and then run the ownership chain forward to the current certified date. Any outsale after the Vesting Deed(s) will be identified. Unlike Vesting Title, our research will not be extended if the Vesting Deed is not a Warranty Deed, Court Order, or Judgment.

Note: Limited Vesting will not include a Limited Title Certificate (LTC), Chain of Title (COT), or encumbrances.

Limited Vesting package will include the following:

• Property Card
• Tax History
• GIS Map(s)
• Project Map
• Vesting Deed(s)
• Original Survey, Subdivision Plat, if needed
